I seriously believe they are highly skilled medical technicians and in
transporting patients to hospital. That is their remit. If they spend time
researching cause and prevention of injury, they are going outside this
remit and misusing taxpayer money.

The Ambulance Service spend a lot of time doing research like this. It
makes them more efficient.


If they are doing such research, and
giving opinions based on it, then this research should be available. If
their opinions are not based on proper research, they are worthless.
