Is there a spacing difference between a 10 and an 11 speed crank? Pushing another speed in there I thought was done by narrowing the chain and not the crank ring spacing?

If I can remember correctly there is a small difference, but I used a 11 speed chain on a 10 speed crank without problems (Campy).

We were told by Campagnolo USA a few years ago that the
Eleven rings were the same as Ten rings until the label was
applied, They measure identical thickness.

I thought it was the spacing between the rings that changed a bit. Anyway it doesn't matter.

Lou

Yes the crank arm spacing is different. When you need a new
Ten chainring, buy the Eleven because those are actually
available.
