Mr Pounder can speak up for himself, but surely he used to be
employed and is now retired? Most retired people find it hard
to get work, whether they are truly unemployable or not. AND
REGARDLESS OF THEIR PREFERRED MEANS OF TRANSPORT.

I am retired, but got a lab job in 2018 here analysing boiler
waters. Pity it went bust though.

Sorry to hear this.
Do you still have that cat that was in one of your photos?

Which photos?

You posted a photo of your kitchen with your bicycle in there. The
worktop had tins of stuff on it. There was a black cat.

That is Kaspa and he is here sleeping.

Are you okay?
We go back for a long time.

I sold my house and am now living a great life here in a Lincolnshire
village, thanks for asking.

Are you still cycling?

I have been out a couple of times with my wife, but we tend to walk hills these days.

Out of interest, Simon, is it anywhere near Bracebridge Heath?

Good evening GB :-)
I'm now well retired. I retired at the age of 59 because I could afford to.
68 this year :-( I've worked hard since the age of 15 and have never been
on the dole. I've no desire to find a job. I've never had to cycle to work
in the wind, the rain and the cold. Poverty cyclists need to do that to get
to the dole office.

Thanks for the compliment

It is between Barton on Humber and Brigg in the Lincolnshire Wolds and our local hill is 15%.
