I would have guessed you could have got one of those jobs you posted. Many
were poorly paid, like the one in Immingham, and there would have been little
competition.

How did Mr Pounder determine that Simon's kitchen was stinking from a

photograph is the question you should be asking him.
I saw a reasonably clean kitchen.

I did get a job analysing bolier waters at a power station near Withernsea, but it went bust.
