Bully, more like. Why is it that it is perfectly all right for cars to pass a slow moving cyclist but not all right for a cyclist to pass slow moving cars? Though I did enjoy seeing him getting beaten by a marathon runner over the marathon course in last weeks TG. ...d |

Conspirering and Incitement to cause a criminal offence. Threatening behaviour. And I pay my council tax, which pays for the road I ride on. Martin. The fact remains that the majority of roads in this country were built before the invention of the internal combustion engine. Road tax may help pay for the upkeep and repair of them, but if there wasn't so much traffic on the road they wouldn't need to be repaired so often. I strongly object to his contention that cyclists are "guests" of motorists who have paid for the roads. This sort of mentality is becoming more widespread unfortunately. What about horses, and vintage cars exempt from Road Tax- are they "guests" too who should get out of they way of speeding morons like Clarkson and get what they deserve if carved up? I used to think Clarkson was funny, but now I think he is just a jerk -- David Bentley |
