why the tdf is a dud......

I wanted to put a little time between the tour and this post to see if
my observations would be the same, which they are. The reason the tour
is a sleeper now, is because of the anti-doping efforts made by the
tour. When doped, these cyclists were like superman, now they don't
look much different than your average century ride, with all the common
human frailties. It's like would you rather watch Superman, or would
you like to see Superman surrounded by kryptonite, sniveling and weak.
Of course, for entertainment purposes we all want to see Superman lift a
locomotive, not get flattened by one.
