"The resident also has very easily accessible off-street parking to the
rear of his property, which actually gets him closer to his entrance
door than a disabled bay on the highway would allow."

So why is he moaning?

Cos he is a lazy git like the solar panel idiot who has a rear garage but can't be arsed to drive all the way round, then he goes crying to the local rag with his sad face on expecting sympathy, but instead just gets laughed at.

All he has to do is apply for a pavement crossing surely?

He won't get one as those houses were never designed for driveways, they have their parking around the back instead.

Don't be silly.

You cannot have an on-carriageway "parking" (ie, garaging) bay on a
street corner. And the council points out that the complainant already
has an off-street garage space within the curtilage of the (council?)
property in which he lives.

wheelie 'into path of oncoming van' in Hull street

Yeah, right.

Plenty of those round here. Everybody should have the right to put a car on their OWN PROPERTY. Only severely ****ed up councils don't allow it.

Apparently Jimmy Savile isn't dead, he was recently seen off the Scarborough coast bobbing up and down on a small buoy.
