Default "It's unlikely that an experienced cyclist would simply fail to seethe parked vehicle."

It seems to happen quite often, especially where dropped bars are in use.

When a cyclist (on his bike) collides with a parked motor vehicle, or a
wall, or a lamp-post or other item of street furniture, there can really
only be one cause of the incident.

It's the same when a driver collides with one of those stationary objects.

Here's one. They are a regular occurrence.

The car was cloaked?
It just beamed in, right in front of the cyclist? These things can happen.
Seen it on Startrek.
The cyclist was not looking where he was going?
My money is on the car employing a cloaking device. I've seen these on
Startrek.

I believe that part of the difference is that cyclists are the only road
users that travel with their arse higher than their head, human
physiology means that keeping your eys looking toward the horizon is
incredibly difficult, combined with the physical effort involved in
keeping the bike moving, means that it is a natural human reaction to
relax the neck and allow the head to move downward and hence the field
of vision to go down, leading to cyclists on racing bikes to plough into
other objects including pedeatrians. The bicycles in such collisions
are invariably (any examples of other more upright types, anyone?)
racing type bicycles.

Those stealth devices are EVERYWHERE!
Here are just a couple of instances.

Cyclists frequently attampt to cloak, by riding in the dark without
lights, reflectors or even just light coloured clothing. It is little
wonder that they get knocked off, especially the ones that ride on the
wrong side of the road, or straight out of side roads, wrong way round
the roundabout, wrong way in one way streets, ride high speed roads in
the early hours, etc. etc. I know it is natural selection, but it is
very distressing for the people that hit them, so it is little surprise
that they drive on, sad, but true.
