Default Compulsory Motorways

We were cycling here on Pagan Midwinter Festival day

Side by side in accordance with the Highway Code.
A motorist told us we were in the middle of the road.

Motorist hypocrisy never ceases to amaze.

Except the drivers who also cycle, they understand cyclists.

The point is we were cycling next to a motorway. We are told cyclists should use cycleways where available so why wasn't the motorist on the motorway?
