GENEVA -- Former anti-doping czar Dick Pound has been nominated for the
presidency of sport's highest court.

The Montreal lawyer was one of two names put forward by the
International Olympic Committee to be the next head of the Court of
Arbitration for Sport, the IOC said Friday.

The other candidate is Geneva-based lawyer Robert Briner, said IOC
spokeswoman Emmanuelle Moreau.

"It's up to CAS to get on with the elections, but we do respect their
autonomy so it's all in their hands in terms of moving things
forward," Moreau said.

The IOC is the only body that can nominate candidates for the CAS
presidency, but the Lausanne-based tribunal's 20-member board makes
the final decision.

Well, that means that everyone that appears before the court is
automatically guilty.

It's really time for Pro cycling to dump the Olympics, Wada, and the
IOC and tell them and their scandals to **** off and die. Pros need
the Olympics like Lance needed a third nipple to win.
