Default Cancer has been Lance Armstrong's friend

A recent article claims that the American legend's testicular cancer
actually helped him during the Tour de France.

Default Cancer has been Lance Armstrong's friend

Interesting but speculative. Who knows? The main thing that cancer
survival has taught me is how precious the gift of life is and never,
ever give in. Then again both he and I have been lucky, we survived,
many do not. To me he is a hero, to some the opposite, but he
undeniably represents courage. The only bad word I have to say about
Lance is that he did not wave to me on the Plateau de Beille when he
stormed up there with Basso on his tail - but hell I forgive him for
that!
