Grande Boucle - Stage 5

Here's more complete results on the 5th Stage giving top ten
plus selected other riders that might be of interest to
rbr readers.

So what's happening to the Leipzig Lassie this year? Petra Rossner,
the German sprint specialist had back to back wins in the World Cup
last year at Thredbo (OZ) and Hamilton (NZ) and clinched the
Overall WC win with a great victory in the final leg in Rotterdam.

But the 36 year old Rossner doesn't seem to have hit form this
year and is in fact losing over a half hour per stage in this
edition of Grande Boucle.

Today's sixth stage is 126 from Vif - Davezieux.

Starting close to Grenoble in LongoLand and wandering down
towards Davezieux and the touristy area of the Ardeche the
stage has no major difficulties and should be fast with a
great opportunity for the sprinters to strut their stuff.

Maybe the sun might shine for Rossner today!!

We hope so.

But more realistically. Somarriba again for the win?
