Very true, I have never had to lay my bike down like I used to with a
motorbike as I am nimble enough to avoid collisions by having lots of
road to play with.

Sigh. It is likely that being in traffic he would have been doing

Indeed. Or he might have been on a not entirely legal bike and doing
all his braking with his feet...
