2 out of 3 drivers like cyclists
A youtube clip showing that, in this instance, 2 out of 3 motor
vehicle drivers will support a cyclist with a damaged bike. Meanwhile, 1 out of 3 motor vehicle drivers will think nothing of crushing a bicycle and fleeing the scene. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7AVC1YCcO0 |

Clear evidence though that some motorists will happily leave cyclists for dead in the gutter. |

Probably not many. The fact is though that some people don't like posting on moderated groups, mainly because moderators are mini-Hitlers usually. I do seem to recall though being able to come on here once and have (or read) interesting discussions about cycling topics. |

You and the rest of the trolls can post whatever you want, and you do. But, like using the squelch on a radio ham set, you can't blame people who want to discuss cycling issues for trying to come up with a coherent strategy to filter out the 'noise'. |

The most coherent strategy would be to use a killfile, but you seem unwilling or unable to do so unless everyone else does, which means populating their killfiles with names that *you* suggest. You just want to control who gets their posts read and who doesn't, that's all. |

If I do so then I promise you will be on it. The idea in so doing will be to encourage others to not engage with people like you so that sensible threads are not ruined by trolling seeping in through quotes. |

At the moment he's doing better than you for intelligent reasonable discussion. |

The only difference between us is that I like driving and you prefer cycling, that seems to be the important issue for you but it doesn't make the general tone or useleseness of our posts any different. Whether they identify with one of the words in the name of a newsgroup or not, a troll is a troll is a troll. |
