How to tell if you're a militant cyclist (psycholist)
WARNING SIGNS
If three or more of the following ring true, you may be a militant cyclist: (1) You obsessively follow competitive cycling events and try to emulate your professional heroes by wearing garish-coloured Lycra clothing when cycling to the local shop. (2) You believe that it is acceptable to break road laws if done "carefully". (3) You develop colour blindness, especially when trying to differentiate between red and green. (4) You start to believe that obvious aids to cycling safety like high-visibility clothing and helmets are actually dangerous. (5) You have joined the CTC. (6) You bizarrely think other road users can see you in the dark with no lights on your bike. (7) You feel a rush to the head when fuel duty increases are announced in the budget. (8) You have pictures of Jenny Jones and Lance Armstrong in your living room. (9) You own or are considering owning a pair of video glasses. (10) You remove the light reflectors on you bike because you think they add unnecessary weight. (11) You own or are considering owning a pair of bib shorts. (12) You notice that people avoid you at parties. |

Mr Benn is just trying to demonise an "out group" to avoid the cognitive dissonance brought on by the vile behaviour of himself and his friends. It's rather sad. Hello Porker - talking of being "sad" - what's your emotional state knowing that your "very special" case is now not going ahead? I really do wish you would tell us why. Surely you could have entered the witness box - you need not have lied. Or is it that which was worrying you? -- Porky Chapman bragged about the fact that he was taking someone he had accused of harassing him through the court system. All of a sudden his court case is off. Was it because Porky was scared of being cross-examined and having to answer questions under oath? Or did the CPS sling the case out because of Porky's "evidence"? Why won't he tell us? |
