If you could only have one bike...
"Peter Amey" wrote in message ... It woul dhave to be my Brompton folder - the most useful bike I have ever owned. (However, my _second_ bike would be a recumbent!). Yeah, I think I'd have to keep my Bike Friday New World Tourist and travel trailer because of its usefulness. Fridays' and other quality travel folders can do so many things reasonably well. You can tour on it, commute on it, shop on it, as well as take it off road. It's a great travel bike that's a snap to transport on any public conveyance anywhere in the world. It truly becomes a faithful companion that's always there when you want it. I've never tried a Brompton, but I bet they are really great for city living and commuting. My second bike would be a lwb recumbent and the rest of them would be anything and everything. skip |
