Default Dodgy junction claims another victim

Another accident at a poorly designed junction following one where a
cyclist was injured in May has prompted calls for better signage and
layout.

Tory Cllr Donna Jones, who represents Hilsea, says she will contact the

She's right. It IS a bit unusual. It isn't comprehensively festooned with
traffic lights designed to cause a minimum of a couple of minutes delay to
law-abiding road-users, even at dead of night (and much longer during peak
hours). Cautiously, one might even suspect that the junction was laid out to
allow traffic to circulate without unnecessary delay.

Having looked at Google Maps, it does not seem that difficult to comprehend.
