Yet another angry cyclist in court
Ashworth’s partner was a bar worker at the pub, but was not working that
night. She said she did not want to go home with Ashworth and asked to stay. When Ashworth found the pub doors had been locked, he kicked a fire door and broke two windows. Patrick Nelligan, defending him, said after leaving the pub for a cigarette, Ashworth returned to find he was locked out. His bicycle was inside and it was a long way home. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay £495 compensation, £85 costs, a £150 court charge plus £15 victims’ surcharge by Blackpool Magistrates’ Court. Why on earth would his bicycle be inside a pub? http://www.lep.co.uk/news/local/cycl...d-in-1-7518614 |

I believe there is one cyclist who keeps his bike in his kitchen, or even his bedroom I believe. |
