The latest scuttlebut aound the Tour is that Cavendish will be DNS on
stage 15

Apparently he has already signed to start in 3 or 4 post-Tour criteriums
in Flanders. Having finished the Giro, slugging that big carcass over
the Alps, doing all the crits; the cumulative effect on the youngster
will seriously hinder his Olympic aspirations. Stopping now is sane.

Yeah, and it didn't look like that breathing-hard, post-race
tiredness, more like a deep fatigue.

Yeah it was bad. It seemed like Cavendish had slurred speech too or like he
was about to burst into tears.
