Default Cipollini critiques Bettini Worlds selection

I think Bettini's section is good. Could anyone else pick a more
suitable sprinter?
I'm unsure how he knows Cav won't make it threw. Besides, I think
Cavendish is not mature enough to carry the Rainbow strips for now.
Maybe in a few more years he can represent them with a better
attitude.

There seems to be a disagreement whether this race is more akin to
Amstel Gold than Milan-San Remo. Some teams are ditching sprinters
for all-rounders out of fear that the number of climbs over the number
of laps will wear out a sprinter. I personally am convinced that this
race will be won out of a bunch sprint. We'll see.

Well, he was an incredibly successful classics rider who has ridden
the course, so if he thinks Cav can't make it to the end, I'd say his
opinion is probably pretty valid.

It's also true that if Cav makes it to the end he doesn't have anyone
to compete with him. So part of that assessment is a realization that
he has to do what he can to make sure that Cav is not at the front
at the end.
