Default Davey is through

The Rebellin exclusion from the Worlds was about the worst example of
pettifogging pusillanimous officialdom adhering to obscure rules that nobody
gives a hoot about anyway just to prove they're in charge.

Davey decided that he'll never again take out a license for any UCI affiliate.

Davey ain't gonna support ******s who pull stunts like that when they bend the
rules every which way when it suits their purpose.

He's gonna get himself a UFOLEP license next year and screw the UCI. They were
always a bunch of ******s anyway.

I suppose times do change, but in Davey's day, the starter might have dropped
the flag, but not a rider in the bunch would have moved off the start line
until Rebellin was lined up and ready to go.

I disagree. Rebillin screwed up.
Why should he ride for Argentina? Give me a break.

Why shouldn't he ride for Argentina if he qualifies to do so ? I'd have
loved to seen him give the Italian selectors an arndt if he had managed to
win.

The Italians screwed up. Rebellin HAD to be on their team; to
not have included him was completely asinine.

Can you say "Guido Trenti?"

LOL! (have to translate that for Guido first)

Guido has a US license with UCI, but he raced for Italy in the World's.
Davide has an Italian license and Argentine citizenship.
Simoni is considering becoming Swiss citizen.
The whole thing is getting farsical.
