Almost as stupid as thinking that driving a car is the only credible form of transport, huh? I see what you tried to do the change the topic. You bad lad. What's so difficult about accepting that cycling is not the only - or even anywhere near being the best - form of exercise? As for being the best form of exercise, of course cycling is the best form of exercise for those who do it. Not at all, at least not unless they don't so any other, better, exercise. So the best one could say is that cycling is the best form of exercise for those who do it and take no other exercise. But of course, on the "logic" you display there, lifting pints of beer is the best form of exercise for those who do that (if I may be permitted to mention alcoholic drinks). So spot the flaw in your "thinking" on that. |

As for being the best form of exercise, of course cycling is the best form of exercise for those who do it. The best form of exercise for anyone is the kind that they enjoy and are therefore likely to continue doing. I think that swimming is best - cycling a close second. That's because you live near a river and can swim to work. The Quaggy isn't swimable... http://mentalmapping.files.wordpress...nsbourne11.jpg I have, however, cycled along part of it. It's *that* polluted, eh? |
