For moving the lever up, I think I put my thumb on top of
the shifter body and use my index finger.


I do the same, but I have found that I get a sore left thumb from pulling the
lever up.
I like my bar ends, but I think I prefer the Ergos.

Yeah, but we also have to see the toe clip scars on your shoes before we
let you into our clubhouse.
