Default It's not just judges

I work in Telford, so you know where this is heading.

This morning, I was riding past RAF Cosford when a car pulled alongside
me. The passenger window was wound down and the driver shouted at me to
use the cycle lane. I was doing 17mph at the time, and the cycle lane
in question is across the other side of the road and is really a
pavement which we are expected to share with pedestrians, so sharing it
at 17mph is inconsiderate and dangerous to both riders and pedestrians.

The shouter, dressed in civvies, pulled into RAF Cosford, so is
probably as civilian worker there. Not all people who work at RAF
Cosford are brainless. Once, when I had a puncture just around the
corner, a member of air crew pulled up to see if he could give a fellow
bikie a hand.

The other week had a passenger shout out "This is a car lane, not a cycle
lane". He then sped off down the bus lane shrugs

You really ought to be a bit choosier about who you let on your tandem,
then.
