Driver fined for colliding with cyclist in Winchester
A YOUNG driver has been fined for causing a crash in Winchester.
Connor Tillwach, 21, of Somerville Road, Kings Worthy, was parked on Hyde Street in a 52-reg Vauxhall Zafira when he pulled away and into the path of a cyclist, causing a collision He originally denied the offence of driving without due care and attention but changed his plea on the day of the trial. Magistrates in Basingstoke fined him £100 and ordered he pay a £30 victim surcharge and £200 prosecution costs.
