It shows the most comfy form of seating.

PS Most TV is shi*t.

Irrelevant to how comfy your chair is.

So I would go to a chair with no TV. Like a bicycle seat.

You would sit in your living room and read a book on a bicycle seat?

The seat at my desk (which I use more than any other) is constructed
in exactly the same way as the one on my bicycle (stretched fabric
mesh), but is LESS comfortable.
Now, I admit that my bicycle is an exception to the rule, being a
recumbent, but even discounting that example, upright bicycles are
constructed so that part of your weight is taken on your hands and
feet, distributing the load across five parts of the body, and
reducing considerably the weight on the arse.

But it's an uncomfortable thin seat so it's only a part of your arse, and not the soft part that rests on a flat chair.

This is something that
no conventional seat does, and it makes it more comfortable, not less.

http://www.posture-chair.co.uk/other...neeling-chairs

I've had a lot of different cars over the years, and driven even more,
but I've only had one (Jaguar Sovereign) where the seat was more
comfortable than a well fitted and adjusted bicycle saddle, at least
to anyone sufficiently fit to keep a (variable, since you can move
about on it) proportion of their weight off their arse.
Of course, it's possible to use a saddle that is less comfortable, or
to adjust it badly, but that would be like nailing the cushions to
your sofa and them complaining that the heads dig into your arse!

Most people are more comfortable in a car seat of sofa.

This has got to be M'Luds funniest post to date!

Errrrm. A conventional seat has armrests and there is a floor to put
your feet on.

Have you worked out the difference in size yet?

Area of push bike seat maybe 20 sq ins. Area of chair cushion 500 sq ins

I find it pointless as a means of transport if you have
access to a car.

Well I don't, for many purposes.

Like?

Carrying small things

Can be done quicker and more comfortably in a car.

Visiting

Can be done quicker and more comfortably in a car.

Going where there are no parks.

I take it you mean car parks. That's not often that happens,
unless you live in one of those silly congested cities.

Breathing fresh air off the countryside.

I already said cycling is for leisure. If you just want
fresh air while you travel, open the car window.

Air in hair.

Get a convertible, anyway that doesn't work with one of those
alien growth cycle helmets.

Lots of things.
That is all I am going to say.
I am not going to have control freaks dictate how I get
around.
And I am not dictating how you should get around.

you cannot conceive that other people might be different from
you,
with different preferences, can you?
Heil Hitler!

I just stated that a car is more comfortable, faster, more
convenient to carry things, all sorts. These are facts not
opinions.

Those are your opinions.
My opinions are different.
"comfortable" "more convenient" are subjective feelings. not
objective facts.
I will not have my subjective feelings controlled by you,
Hitler.
The only adjective I might agree with, sometimes, is "faster".
I do not have the arrogance (or guts, take your pick) to
control your opinions.

Sitting on a saddle is not more comfortable than a soft chair,
for anyone.

That is your belief. Not necessarily a fact in all circumstances.
How do you know that my bum is the same as yours? Have you seen
it?

What do you sit on to watch TV?

What does that have to do with transport choices?

It shows the most comfy form of seating.

PS Most TV is shi*t.

Irrelevant to how comfy your chair is.

So I would go to a chair with no TV. Like a bicycle seat.

You would sit in your living room and read a book on a bicycle seat?

I wouldn't discount the idea - he is a psycholist, after all.
Anything's possible.

I wonder if he wears a helmet and hivis jacket?

Keep wondering

Ah, private information is it? I bet you wear leather.
