Default Endless Summer Watermelon ride in North Florida today

Hello All,

We had our Endless Summer Watermelon ride in North Florida today --102 miles

It has been in the nineties almost everyday this summer.

Today, the high was 77 degrees with no rain.

My V-rex and I averaged 15 mph.

Somedays it just pays to ride.

I made my own goo with honey, molasses and a pinch of salt.

I took my remaining Enduro Optimizer, mixed it with a can of powdered
Enfamil and "part" of a can of powdered Gatorade (both from Sams).

A comparison of the ingredients in Enfamil to those in Optimizer is
interesting.

It worked great. This was the first century that I had energy to spare at
the end.

---
Thank you very much,

Father Time

Hello All,

I have been using honey pre and post ride and gatorade mix 50/50 with
water during the ride for a quite while now. I understand why you
would have the pinch of salt but what is the molasses for?

Default Enfamil vs. "Opimizer"

Enfamil may have similar amounts of calories, carbs and protein, but
it's got way more fat.

Enfamil and "part" of a can of powdered Gatorade (both from Sams).

A comparison of the ingredients in Enfamil to those in Optimizer is
