fighting occurs.

Exactly. What a weird thing to become a fashion item!

.223 pretty much displaced .308 and 30.06 which put a lot
more impact on target.

If .50cal became as popular as .223 you'd bitch about that too

Back in the day a .58 caliber rifled musket was considered with
considerable trepidation.

My .58 caliber Hawken muzzle loading rifle can bring down a Grizzly bear or other North American large game.

Then again, according the Guiness Book of World Records a native Amerindian woman killed a grizzly bear from, iirc, three feet away when she shot it with a .22 caliber long rifle cartridge. That was a woman with lots of grit.

Cheers

Or perhaps a very slow runner :-)

But never mind the .22, a guy named Fraser Graham killed a wounded
adult grizzly, that attacked him, with a knife.

Oh dear, with comprehension skills like that, no wonder you seen as

Because they don't keep to the US survival nut newsgroups and wander into
the global newsgroup to share their "leet' knowledge, just like you do.
You are sick beyond
repair. Australia has LONG ago gone over to the dark side and every
posting you make proves it.

Gone over? Where we every on the other side, Oh wait, of course,
Australia is on the other side of the Pacific Ocean to you.

Shouldn't you be out advocating the police using clubs on people that do not wear masks? http://12160.info/m/blogpost?id=2649...fgdFBn2yq1vDXM The important part of that beyond actual research showing that masks have no effect EVEN ON BACTERIAL infections is "Mandating masks has not kept death rates down anywhere. The 20 U.S. states that have never ordered people to wear face masks indoors and out have dramatically lower COVID-19 death rates than the 30 states that have mandated masks. Most of the no-mask states have COVID-19 death rates below 20 per 100,000 population, and none have a death rate higher than 55. All 13 states that have death rates higher 55 are states that have required the wearing of masks in all public places. It has not protected them"

Wearing masks while exercising which appears to be becoming popular can and will kill you. It causes a condition called hypercapnia which is the collapsing of the lung's alveoli and a generally slow and painful death similar to Emphysema but no one ever accused the Aussies of knowing anything that they were doing before they took actions that made matters far worse than they were.

So much wisdom is wasted here! Your orange hero is now being seen

And... of the nations with a population of 200 million, or more, the
U.S. ranks first in number of cases and deaths and on a per capita
basis is second only to Brazil who is ahead by 1% in the cases per
capita race and 6% in the deaths per capita group.

Keep up the good work and make "America First"!

It is almost comical about how you claim to "follow the science" and then deny it.

Yerr Frank. Tommy's new science is just so superior to that other old
fashioned peer tested science. And it is so much easier to follow and you
don't have to worry about any details and exceptions.

Unlike you I don't get my "science" off of the front page of the Canberra Times. I actually work for it. Go back in your closet and beat off as usual.

Lol, no argument to be made, as usual, so you revert to lame insults.
Plenty of people 'work for science", but not many of them understand what
they are doing and why. Your comments fit into the former class.
Or did you already know why you keep a a paper bag in a first aid kits?

I have given my CDC references. Why don't you explain where you get your idiotic and dopey responses if not from a far far left wing media in a country in which the police will beat a mother with billy clubs in front of her children for not wearing a mask in her own front yard? Believe me, you NEVER want to meet me.

I take it you've run out of street trash to try an resell on Craig's
List!.

Now, do you know why you slip a paper bag into your first aid kit? The
hint is, it is all to do with the range of CO2 that humans have evolved
to live with.
