The cyclist in this case is a moron, a ****witted moron and should
be made to pay for his crime and for his victims rehabilitation.

On a secondary note, and perhaps it's labouring a point, but maybe
there should be laws against cycling on the path .. oh, there are.

TBH you keep posting these when every day I could post far more of
the times when drivers run down cyclists on the roads. I refrain
from doing so because it adds nothing to the argument.

Can you post any incidents of motorists deliberately driving on the
pavement and mowing down cyclists?

You think the cyclist deliberately mowed down the pedestrian?

Can you post any incidents of cyclists saying "that sharp braking could
NOT make you go over the bars" ?

While you're asking me questions, that is ..

Best to keep the topic in its own thread I would think.

Do you think he was only on the footway because he lost control of his bike
whilst cycling lawfully along the carriageway?

No, it didn't.

"deliberately driving on the pavement" (OK, we can score a point over the use
of "driving" rather than "cycling" or "riding") is what he wrote.

That was a deliberate action. And it was illegal and selfish.

The reason why it's illegal is well illustrated by the case, isn't it?

ALthough I'm certainly not going to trawl Google looking for it, let meassure
you that that *was* said, here, a couple of years or so ago.

Anyway, that position is filled

Some of these OAP's might get lucky like this little girl and get checked
out properly.
