live internet tdf coverage
Last year, the official tdf site (www.letour.com) had internet audio
directly from the coverage that is on the US Outdoor Life Network. I believe that they will be doing it again this year ... The commentators are well known to us - Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen, and you may hear some words from former 7-eleven professional Bob Roll who completed the tour in 1986. Its going to be a sleepy eyed July! "Katharine & Paul" wrote in message ... Hello all! Anyone know where to get live audio commentary, pictures or text commentary on the net? Paul |

Yes as above OLN network works quite well & had some archived stuff from 03
up until recently. Unfortunately the commentators are getting a bit jaded/predictable now, Eurosport Sat. coverage have a new guy now which we may get on Foxtel one day , pity my Spanish is not up to scratch because the Colombian announcers are 'out of this world' literally ) "chickasmith" wrote in message ... Hi All
I remember last year I did watch some of the Tour on video live on the Internet, I just cannot remember what site it was. It had Liggett and another guy who probably was Sherwin doing the commentary and they would go silent occasionaly and this is where the adverts would come on and then they would suddenly start talking after the break. If only I had saved that link.... Dave -- |

Maybe Eurosport might have it (as they do with live audio?) but from memory
a few years ago it was a picture every 15 secs. Listening to Phil and Paul is just as good as watching it (well ...) but with that and live text everywhere, it should suffice until 6pm ... Nine aussies in the tour!!! "hippy" wrote in message ... Dominic Sansom wrote: I anyone knows please post the link. That with the sound down, and the OLN radio-stream, ahh it was just perfect (though the radio was about 5-8 seconds behind the vision, it was good enough) This *was* the link: http://193.88.15.169:80/tv2tour The home page of the originating TV station is www.tv2.dk. I'm hoping they'll stream it again this year, as it was very stable and never cut out/got choppy. -- |
