Default I'm aiming for 1000km this month, but....

.... after hundreds of incident free kilometres...

Yesterday I was stung in the mouth when I inhaled a bumblebee.
Thankfully, only a graze - my violent expectorations meant it couldn't
get a proper sting in - but it still hurts like hell!

This morning, amidst a deluge and with thunder rumbling in the distance,
the puncture fairy decided to pay me a visit.

Supposedly, problems travel in threes - I'm a bit nervous about
venturing out again...

Count the deluge and the puncture separately, and you're safe again!

I've been worrying a bit about that myself lately. Every second day I
see to end up swallowing a fly or something. So far none of them have
fought back!
