Default What did Santa bring you?

I am reading an account of the plague by an eyewitness on my new
Kindle. Lots of books, but no bike-related pressies (after all, what
would you buy the man who has a fully-equipped Brompton? What more
could be needed?)

I got £700 from the Queen. In an envelope with "On Her Majesty's
Service" in fact.

Your new Kindle can download quite a few free texts on cycling,
bicycles and cyclists, amongst all sorts of other goodies, in Kindle
format from the Internet Archive. Usually older and non-copyright.

Did I mention FREE?

I can download films and stream them directly to the TV instead of via
the Xbox or burning to disc and games in HD look amazing ..

We have a Sonapanic HD TV (one of they LED ones) that I bought last
year with a bit of my performance bonus. Games are said (by the two
who play them) to be vastly better and BBC HD is excellent. We don't
subscribe to satellite or cable.

If the bonus this year is as expected than I will be buying a Blurry
player as well as some other toys.

It was 'cos we bought me mam a pasanonic HD TV that we decided to get
one for ourselves, especially after watching the last F1 race in full
HD. The Samsung, when viewed side-by-side had a much better screen to
our viewpoint ..

Can't believe it took me so long to get a HDTV in 'the front room' ..
kids have had smaller ones for ages .. Frozen Planet was just such an
awesome series made even more awesomerer in full HD .. we're going to
be adding in an old computers 5.1 surround sound speakers soon .. and
the PS3 makes a good Blustuff player ..
