Default which brake blocks?

Trying to work out which Kool Stop brake blocks to get for the hybrid,
which has Shimano V-type levers, Tektro V-type calipers, and alloy rims.

I /think/ I want the "Thinline" - or is it the "Eagle II"? Or is it
something else altogether?

And since this is for all-weather road/trail use (no /proper/ off-road)
I /think/ I want either straight salmon or dual compound.

Such a bewildering array of choices... someone please correct me if I'm
wrong. Ta.

d.
