They just have to discover it. Those bikes look like their useless decorative features were designed under the distant, much-diluted influence of De Stijl by a not very talented graphic (not industrial) designer. Andre Jute I cringe with embarrassment every time I hear a "designer" talk of "cutting edge design". |

Motor scooters impose all three, at least in California. bob prohaska |

France discovers 1997 technology!
E-bikes don't inflict pollution, noise, or significant risk of major injury upon other people in their vicinity. They are thermodynamically several times more efficient than stinking gas scooters. When they are based on traditional bicycle designs, they have the virtues of traditional bicycles-- which make them much easier and safer to operate than small-wheeled or stand-up scooters.

And both are certainly safer for pedestrians than are cars, pickups, other trucks and SUVs. - Frank Krygowski |

Tell that to the people who've been hit or nearly hit by E-bikers whilst the person was walking or riding on a MUP or rail-trail. I seen a large number of very near misses ans also have seen people crash because of a fast riding E-biker not giving enough room when passing. Cheers |
