Questions about Carbon Fiber frames??

Hey all,

I am wanting to get a carbon fiber street bike frame so I can put together
my own custom bike. I have not done this in many years so I am not sure who
makes good frames and who does not. If you could provide me with links or
information I would appreciate it very much.

stick to a big name manufacturer that can afford to throw away their
mistakes. small producers seem to find it too tempting not to. and in
that vein, i've had bad luck, on multiple occasions, with chinese-made
carbon componentry. taiwanese seems ok though. look, giant, trek, time
are all people who pay attention to mechanical quality, not just
shininess. and who can afford to exercise proper quality control.
unless it's giant, avoid cheap!
