Default Chain rings - SG vs SG-X

Is there any functional difference between SG chain rings and SG-X? I
have an older DuraAce crankset and want to replace the 53-tooth chain
ring. It is marked as 53 SG B. The replacement I found is marked 53
SG-X B.

Thanks,
Craig
