What did I do this evening?
We were doing our exercise this evening at 1900h on a rural footpath that links two Lincolnshire villages when I heard a voice behind me saying "excuse me". It was a young woman riding a horse at a canter.
Did I: a) Close ranks with my wife, kick the horse and tell the young bint that I couldn't give a f*** about her mangy nag. b) Shout at her to dismount and walk her horse as she was illegally riding it on a footpath and not a bridleway. c) Report her to the police for breaking a bye law. d) Move aside and bid her a cheery "good evening". |

Luckily horses don't carry coronavirus and was allowed within 2 metres. Also luckily the horse didn't ram into you and fall over before you had a chance to see it. |

Tat reminds me of another situation. Early one evening my husband and I were walking our dog on a path in the countryside. A gobby chav was shouting somewhere in the background as chavvy families do. Moments later a six year old girl on a skateboard had ridden into my husband. It was so hard she fell off and left him bruised. The gobby chav rushed up and said he'd told us to get out of the way. He had recorded this on video and said he would upload it to a newspaper website, unless we paid him £100. We told him to take his set-up scam and **** off. |

We told him to take his set-up scam and **** off. Very common with drivers' "cash for crash" fiddles. What is crash for cash? In Crash for Cash scams, fraudsters deliberately crash into the vehicles of innocent motorists or submit false claims for accidents. The intention is to make as much money as possible from the exaggerated claim, with proceeds used to fund other accidents or even more serious crimes. The scam goes well beyond the initial car accident, with Car Insurance fraud costing the UK Ā£340 million each year. More importantly, it is also puts motoristsā lives in danger. |

If I get covid it will most likely come from one of the garden cats. |

I assume she has paid her bridleway tax. |
