It is exactly what Shimano says it is -- at any one time, depending on
such considerations as which gruppo they want to fit it into, which
components will also be on the bike, what Shimano want the thing to
do, possibly which niche they're speaking to. Your question translates
into English as "How long is a piece of string at Shimano?"

It can be anything from a rudimentary bike computer through a cadence
counter and gear indicator to a full control center for an automatic
bike. The "Shimano C Deck / CI Deck / Flight deck" is any or all of
these, and some combinations besides.

controller for the CPU of an autogearchange/adaptive front
