Why do you keep saying that - and then don't do what you say?

Several studies provided solid scientific evidence that bicycle helmets
protect against head, brain, severe brain and facial injuries,
as well as death, as a result of cycling accidents

Hey, Jude, must be nice for you now your dick Nuxxy's back from his
holidays. Or perhaps he's been busy organising his legal action
against Chapman? It'll be good to see the old tag team back in action!
The pair of you, nym shifting around the scene like a pair of stupid
things on stupid pills - it's a sight to see. A fun day out for all!

Do you think drivers who make way for emergency vehicles by going
through red lights (when there was no other way of letting them
through) should be prosecuted? *If so, why?

No they should not be prosecuted, they should be hauled out of there
cars & hung by the neck from the red light post that they have just
passed.
Not only will this save the cost of the court case, but it will also
provide a lesson for others who might do the same.
(and it will feed the crows)

That's what I think ( or that's what I think I think, perhaps)

Damned liberal
You forgot the flaying, and didn't say how violently the vehicle
should be destroyed (ignited under the red lamp post?).

Perhaps I was feeling to kind at that time, it goes without saying of
course that the spare wheel should be hung from the drivers balls.

As driving (for some) seems to be a ritualistic pastime with a bit of
evangelising thrown in, what is required is something more fitting for
the driver and vehicle.
At first I considered a sort of Viking funeral where the body is placed
in the car and the car is set alight and rolled down the high street and
in to the river.
Then I realised that cyclists are not often held as being 'proper road
users', not following the one true path so there can be only one way of
recognising this and a modern version of the Wicker Man comes to mind.

The car is filled with sacred objects such as a mobile phone, empty
Relentless and Red Bull cans, 'Princess Inside' stickers and small white
squares with a red cross on them. The driver is tied in the usual
position of a mobile to the ear, can to hand and eyes pointed
reverentially towards the ****-Nav.
The immolation is left to the acolytes of motoring, the twock 'em and
flame 'em tribe who will then remove the vehicle to a semi-isolated spot
and, to the sound of a poorly adjusted sound system rattling any loose
bits on the car, get things started with a small theatrical pyro charge
and a bag of genuine four star.

It's what they would have wanted.

Well, that's sorted out, the RLJ's who do it for a good reason.
Lets now have ideas about what we should do to the cyclists ride on
footways on purpose.

In that case you won't mind just confirming that you *don't* think
that, will you (as of course you would have above had you felt able to
do so truthfully)?

[tumbleweed]

Surprise surprise, Chapman seems to have "missed" the above post. What
a vile, dishonest person he is. If he thinks drivers should be
prosecuted for making way for emergency vehicles at red lights, why
does he not just admit it, instead of trying to obfuscate? There can
only be one explanation: he knows that if he admits it then his hatred
of motorists, and his prioritising of that hatred above the safety of
innocent people, will be there for all to see (as if it isn't
already).

Pathetic, as ever.

Do you think it's appropriate for you to call people "dicks", since
you're so grown up and so much better than those who you rail against
(oh, and you're called Nobby)?

Or perhaps he's been busy organising his legal action
against Chapman?

"Chapman" eh? And there I was thinking that his sycophants had been
told to call him "Mr Chapman", "HRH, King of Car-Haters", or some
other pathetic flattering nonsense.

It'll be good to see the old tag team back in action!

Having problems Nobby? I think you need to chill out a bit. Go and
glare at some passing motorists for no reason and report someone for
parking in the wrong place: I've heard that Chapman and Spindrift find
such activities to be great stress-busters.

And do try to contribute something to the topic at hand. Have you
noticed how evasive Chapman's being about the subject line? He won't
actually say whether he thinks drivers should be prosecuted for making
way for emergency vehicles at red lights. If one didn't know better
then one might think that Chapman's evasiveness was because he didn't
want the truth (i.e. that he does think such drivers should be
prosecuted) to get out, due to wanting to keep his hatred of motorists
"secret" (BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA).

A bit like the Lueu Kniei question: someone who didn't know better
might think his evasiveness there was also because he didn't want the
truth to get out. But I'm sure you don't think that (or if you did
then you wouldn't have the guts to say so). Well? Do you think that?
C'mon Nobster, we're waiting.

Yep, in your case I do. Sorry, I missed the capital "D" though. I can't
rememkber where I've claimed to be grown up and so much better than you
and your pet ****, so I guess it must be you who thinks I am, which is
nice. But thanks.

I can't recall where he's asked anyone to call him any of those things.
Perhaps you can enlighten me? Or no, I don't really care all that
much, and certainly not as much as you seem to.

But how's it going, the legal action? Not actually in progress yet?

It'll be good to see the old tag team back in action!

Nope. Just looking forward to the entertainment.

[Drivel snipped, ending in a diatribe about Lou Knee, which you can't
actaully spell]]
C'mon Nobster, we're waiting.

Who's this we? Oh, that'd be you and your pet **** Judith, wouldn't
it? I don't think there's any other "we" that actually gives a flying
****, young fellah me lad. I'm sure if there are any others in your
imaginary "we" they'll make themselves known, but I'm not going to hold
my breath waiting for the rush of support - are you?

Nice to talk to you again,
Nobby
