But if Mr. Sherman would like to get involved with Johnny NoCom and his
fellow Monkey Islanders, he is more than welcome to leave this group for
them anytime he wants. ARBR will have to struggle on without him.
However, it appears he will have another Ed (Gin?) there for him to do
battle with. Ah, the injustice of it all!

Huh? Why would I have any problems with Ed Gin? I know Ed Gin (and several
other "Monkeys") well enough to laugh with them when they are deliberately
being outrageous, and to join in on the good-natured trash talking.

More proof that Mr. Dolan knows not of what he speaks.

Well, if you like to read Johnny NoCom (who I understand is really Ed Gin)
then you are more juvenile and obsessive than we ever thought you were.
Johnny NoCom is truly a one note Johnny. But we all know that you too ride a
low racer and so the connection is not totally lost on the rest of us. I
myself wouldn't be caught dead on a low racer, but maybe that is just me.

The only one of those Monkey Islanders who seems intelligent is Jim
McNamara. Most likely that is because he is a good Irishman and has the gift
of gab like all true Irishmen. He is the only one who does not go on and on
about speed on a bike.

But you are surely welcome to that group. In fact, I think you might fit
right in. But you need to get up to speed on your trash talk. One way to do
this would be to have a lobotomy. The other way is to revert to your own
childhood. But I think it is ridiculous for a grown man to be acting like a
teenager.

Beware of them though, as too much of that sort of thing could permanently
derail you and you would no longer be suited for us intellectuals here on
ARBR. You might even be fired from your job if you started trash talking to
your employer and your underlings. Then you could truly join the underclass
(mostly Blacks) of which you are so fearful.

We intellectuals here on ARBR will only stand for so much you know. You
should ask Mr. Varney if he thinks it is OK to trash talk on ARBR. Also
contact old Cletus Lee and find out what he thinks. I understand he has
permanently left us and is now to be found on BROL. Frankly, I miss his high
indignation whenever I would get off topic - which was pretty much all the
time. But Freewheeling is the ultimate intellectual to be found on this
group. You need to consult with him about your desire to trash talk and see
what he thinks of it. If you want me to analyze you, it is going to cost you
as I am sick and tired of dishing out free advice (the most profound wisdom)
to all the idiots here on ARBR.

Ed Gin helped set up my Sunset (from measurement sent by email) before I
purchased it, so I could test ride it. I have not made any changes
besides a small adjustment to handlebar angle (changing the stop screw
adjustment on the RANS Flip-It [1]).

But you are surely welcome to that group. In fact, I think you might fit
right in. But you need to get up to speed on your trash talk. One way to do

I am willing to engage in trash talk. Would you like to discuss the
material and compaction requirements for landfill liners and caps?

Would that be "Guess Who I Am" and "Thank you. Earl."

Another character for sure. They all seem to have speed on the brain and
that is all they ever want to talk about and so they are ultimately
uninteresting to me. But to each his own.

Tom Sherman

I have noted your very abbreviated signature, most unusual for you. I think
peacocks like us should have a grandiose and flowery signature. After all,
we are royalty here on ARBR. May I suggest the following for long term
usage:

Tom Sherman - Rock Island, Illinois

It just looks right and it sounds right too. Both place names have a grand
tradition and the Europeans just love our Indian names like Illinois and
Minnesota and Iowa and Wisconsin , etc., etc.
