Chicago cyclists?

Hello,

Chicago has two big rides I'd like to try in the future ("Bike the
Drive" [http://www.bikethedrive.com/index.html] and "Lakefront
Boulevard tour [http://www.boulevardtour.org/] ).

I'm interested in cycling from Milwaukee to Chicago, but am unsure of
how to do it. Have any cyclists here done it before? If so, can you
give my directions I can safely use?

Search the rec.bicycles.rides archives - Ron Wallenfang posted a
Milwaukee-Chicago route there a while back.
