This includes exceeding the speed limit past three schools. A total disregard for the well-being of vulnerable road users.

Peds tend to stay safe on the pavement. Why do you think the two
figures are comparable.

Totally meaningless without some comparison of the overall number of
cyclists or cyclist miles travelled in the two periods being compared.

Now, be a dear and FOAD.

She missed this important bit out.

"According to TfL's figures the number of daily cycle trips on its
road network has risen by 150 per cent since 2000, (in 2010 there was
a 15 per cent year on year rise in cycle trips), while the number of
deaths per cycling trip has dropped by 60 per cent over the
corresponding period. The figures would seem to back up the central
idea of the CTC's Safety in Numbers campaign, namely that the more
cyclists there are on the roads the safer cycling becomes."

In total, there were 3,909 cyclists injured in the twelve months ending
September 2010, 10.9 per cent more than the previous twelve months.

Now let's see you produce the figures which show that cycling increased by 10%
over the year.

Simple really - off you go.

Here you a 15% from the very report.(but they could have lied)

Pedal cyclists killed or seriously injured
were 18% below the 1994-1998 average,
with an 8% increase in the 12 months
ending December 2010. This overall
increase should be seen in the context of
the considerable increase in cycling over a
number of years, resulting from
encouragement of cycling in London as a
sustainable mode of travel.

Cycling on London’s major roads, the Transport for
London Road Network (TLRN), increased
by150% between 2000 and 2010, and 15%
during 2010 alone.

So cycling on some very particular routes (ie just London's major roads)
increased by 15% and you seem to think that this showed that cycling overall in
London increased by at least 10%.

Simple - just like Simon.

blah blah blah - there are probably more cyclists than before, therefore
more reported accidents. Much like the statistic that shows males have more
accidents, but fails to recognise that there are more of them driving about.
