Seems like just the case for Jay's group. (Yes that's humor Jay).

Fiction writing was over when I retired from advertising at 28. Ever since thriller writers have been mining the news. -- AJ

Not really - fiction has become the most absurd thing possible. Murder fests with heroes doing impossible feats, so-called science fiction that has no science and is entirely fiction etc.

The speed limits in the universe are set. The speed of light is the ultimate limit and only energy forms can go that fast. No material things. There will be no "warp speed" or travel between the star with "multigenerational ships" and any slightly competent astronomer could tell you that none of the "earth-like planets" discovered are even vaguely like Earth and are so distant that you could not carry propellant, food and water to reach them with living people on board. Even the simplest things such as a doctor would disappear in one generation.

No you cannot crash through the window of a skyscraper from a helicopter. The glass is essentially bulletproof and you couldn't even cut a hole in it with anything under a hot .50 caliber round.

The car chase scenes are bizarre and stunt drivers sometimes take 20 takes to get the simplest of them correct. No, a car will not steer on two wheels..

Love stories where a woman falls into bed with a stranger after knowing him for 20 seconds? This is no longer fiction but it certainly should be. Half a population without religion? Yet the development time of the human race alone, let alone the age of dinosaurs would take more time than the estimated age of the universe let alone the tiny percentage of that time the Earth has existed.

The Dead Sea Scrolls tells of a "great flood" and they have found the remains of Noah's Ark on Mt. Ararat in Turkey. Moses lived to be 900 years old and most of the leaders in the old testament as well. The development of language alone took a stunning amount of time and they language was boosts 1,000% with the invention of writing which added fine detail to languages.

The world is a curiosity and why would anyone want to change it? I mean besides the communists who believe that it is unfair that some people work smarter and/or harder than others and consequently receive more remuneration.

When truth becomes stranger than fiction, and what we seek is
entertainment in the form of strangeness, then everything becomes
truth and there is no longer any need for fiction.

Are the external glass walls of skyscrapers bullet proof?
https://www.quora.com/Are-the-external-glass-walls-of-skyscrapers-bullet-proof

While it is true that it isn't truly bullet proof glass believe me it is bullet proof. That Texas building shattered those windows because the building flexed so much in a hurricane that it broke the windows. The buildings in California are made to flex under earthquake pressures and so the window frames are made to flex without the thick glass shattering. If you don't believe that this glass can't be shattered even in Earthquakes hit them with a hammer and see.

I installed telephone systems inside of these San Francisco skyscrapers for a couple of years between engineering jobs and you could not break those windows or there would inevitably be some sort of accident and someone falling out. Hasn't happened and won't.
