WTB: 3 speed coaster brake hub 28H
28's were more common on smaller wheel bikes. 24" 20" folders, etc.
I did get 1 reply of someone with a 14 spoke hole 3 speed hub. But I'm not to sure about leaving half the spokes out of a drive/brake wheel. And I found 1 on the web but the sticker is a bit high. http://www.mostlymusclebikes.com/musclebike/mb405.htm here is one on ebay, but won't work for my bike since i need to put in spokes in those holes ... They're virtually all 36H with older SA hubs often being 40. Both Sachs and Shimano are only available in 36H (I'm pretty sure of this). New rim time. |
