"www.dictionary.com :

Can you at least speak Yank WHILE you trash the Brits?

"Whilst", "methinks", "thy" -- I think he uses these terms to appear
learned. They're non-standard in American English.

On a more substantive level, it's odd that Ozark is complaining about
polling methods

I'm pointing out that the AHZs are conspiring to distort a "poll" via
voter fraud. Do you approve of such sleazy tactics?

after he set up a fundamentally flawed "poll" in this
group.

Learn the difference between "flawed" and "fraud". You can do it if you
really try!

Cowardly -- not even posting this in a way that the people he's
criticizing are likely to see it.

And speaking of cowardly, any news about New York City? Even
tentative or possible dates? That would help me in setting aside time
to see you if you're in town the same days I am. I hope you're not
chickening out but I think you are, which is funny since you started
this meeting thing by suggesting your opponents would be afraid to
criticize you to your face.

The bully/coward thing is funny to observe.

Anyway, I predict insults from you as an attempt to deflect my
questions about your trip, whereas if you were sure you weren't coming
to NYC you'd simply say so. Or if you were possibly coming and
willing to meet you'd give possible dates so a meeting would be more
likely to happen.

I'm so curious what you look like I'd even consider coming out to
Woodside Queens (one of the places you said you might be) to do it if
it was early enough so that I could make it to work on time. Though
midtown is better and wouldn't have to be so early -- like 8am or 8:15
depending.

So any tentative dates? Or insults?

JT

I posted a link to this thread in URC.

Geezus, you really are obsessive. I thought I was going to be in the
NYC area this summer. The trip didn't work out, for several reasons. It
might surprise you to learn that I am not willing to travel ~1400mi
just to meet you. OTOH you're welcome here anytime. If you want a more
public forum, I'll be wrenching at three charity rides in the next
several weeks.

Those are Shaun R.'s words. I merely pay homage.
