Default More driver wriggling

I though four wheel made cars more stable than bikes.
Obviously not.

"A woman who overturned her car after drinking several glasses of wine with
friends has been banned from the road.
Earley woman Dawn Maddox had been on a night out but after someone else took
her home she got into her car to drive to a pal's house on learning her
sister was unwell.

She only made it just over 100m from her house before realising she was over
the limit and turned back to go home but on her way back, just yards from
her house, she clipped a kerb and overturned her Ford Focus on Monday,
September 19.

Maddox, 41, was not hurt in the incident in Sellafield Way but police who
attended smelt alcohol on her breath and made her take a breathalyser test
which revealed she was over the limit.

Jaimini Renuka, defending Maddox at Reading Magistrates' Court last
Thursday, explained she had been out for a curry with friends and drank four
or five large glasses of wine.

She said Maddox was not driving but after she returned home at about 9.30pm
she was in contact with a friend because she had just had some bad news
about her sister.

At around midnight she got into her car to drive to her friend's house.

Miss Renuka said: "They thought she felt fine and that she'd had something
to eat and was under the limit. She drove to the bottom of her road, that is
140m from her house, she got there and thought, 'I'm over the limit', and
changed her mind and turned back. She was 10m from her house when she hit a
kerb and then another car."

The single mum, who works for a cleaning company, wrote off her car in the
crash and the damage to the other car is being dealt with by insurance
companies.

Magistrates disqualified Maddox from driving for 20 months although she has
the chance to shorten this time by taking a drink-driver rehabilitation
course at her own cost.

Mike Wall, chairman of the magistrates, said: "What happened in the end was
an accident turned upside down. All in all it was not a nice incident."

Maddox was also fined £150, ordered to pay £85 costs and a victim surcharge,
now known as a 'court levy', of £15."

07:20 on a Sunday morning and Simple Saddo is sat posting messages in his own
time.

What was he telling us?

Simple Simon Mason - who cycles at 25mph in 20mph limits just because the limits do not apply to cyclists.
This includes exceeding the speed limit past three schools. A total disregard for the well-being of vulnerable road users.
The actions of a true psycholist.
