Scum jailed 3 years for RLJ and no lights
QUOTE:
George Lindsay, 42, reached speeds of up to 90mph during the night time, six-mile pursuit on 17 August. The court heard he could have killed someone as he sped through the residential streets with his lights deliberately turned off. He drove through red traffic lights and overtook other vehicles to try to escape the police. At one point, people who had stepped onto a zebra crossing had to jump back as he passed through. George Lindsay admitted a string of offences, including dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drugs. He also admitted being in possession of a kitchen knife. He was sentenced at Carlisle Crown Court today (18 September), and received a jail term of three years and two month http://www.itv.com/news/border/2015-...arlisle-chase/ |

What's the penalty for that? Twenty years? |

Time to confuse the idiot with facts. In the 12 months ending of September 2014 - 524,877 people were summonsed or charged with a motoring offence, with 85% of these people being convicted (people found guilty or pleading guilty) of motoring offences. So that's 446,145 convictions. That's 1.35% of motorists breaking the law. Only slightly higher than the number of passenger journeys by push bike. Bearing in mind we have ANPR cameras, more speeding cameras than anywhere else, traffic light cameras, bus lane cameras etc, etc the chances of an errant motor |
