Cycling joke in Milton Jones act
Been to see Milton Jones tonight - during the act he asks if there are any
cyclists in the audience. Not much reaction, a few murmurs. Then he goes to a flip chart of pictures and turns one over to reveal a solid red circle, on top of two other white circles, all the circles inside a vertical rectangle ( meaning longest side vertical ). A poor drawing, but there was no doubt what it represented. "Any of you recognise one of these?" he asked. The audience laughed, and he moved on to his next gag. He's good the way he lets the audience complete the joke in themselves, and doesn't repeat himself or dwell. Good night out. |
