Default replacing a freehub body

I've got a bad freehub body on an XTR hub. It grinds, groans, & doesn't
freewheel too good. I've tried cleaning and re-lubing, as per the Park
website, to no avail.

I want to replace it without replacing the entire hub. Does anyone
sell just the freehub?

Thanks,
Montana Biker

The "Freehub" is the entire hub. The part you want is called a "Freehub
body."

See: http://harriscyclery.net/site/page.c...&Category=2348

The actual XTR bodies are ludicrously expensive, but you can substitute
a more reasonably priced body with no difficulty.

http://www.sheldonbrown.com/harris/k7.html#bodies They aren't cheap.
You might be better off buying a used hub that still has a good cassette
body and then swapping them out.
