He "appoined" a majority of Supreme Court justices? In 2004, Diebold did. Blogcrap. Gore lost. Kerry lost. Get over it. Why? Let 'em wallow in their perceived injustice, stew and fume over the wrongs of this evil corrupt world filled with 10,000 overlapping conspiracies to keep the wealthiest, healthiest most free people in the history of humanity in chains. In the meanwhile, the Democrat party may just learn to dump them by the wayside and return to being a legitimate force in national politics. I agree with everything you say. HOWEVER, the fact that they can't "get over it" is manifested in the overt (as well as covert) undermining of the Bush Administration /and/ the US military and intelligence agencies in "really important ways" (think life and death...literally). There are many who hate Bush so much that they actively root /against/ US interests just because it harms his presidency (and because they lust for power themselves). It's shameless...AND shameful. It sounds like you've spent too much time listening to Faux News and/or Rush. Many of the folks opposed to Bush and his policies are opposed on legitimate political and moral grounds (e.g., an unnecessary war that's costing trillions of dollars, and thousands of lives). Aside from a few academic nutcases, we do *not" root against the US. The fact that you think we do just illustrates the extent to which you've been brainwashed. Why did you think I meant you, Gary? There's a very fine but definite line between people like you who call Bush an idiot (granted he's a horrible speaker and yet he's been elected POTUS /twice/) and those who hate him so much that they actively undermine nearly everything he does. The far-far left (Soros, Sheehan, Moore... Chalo LOL ) is high-jacking the Democratic party; no brainwashing required to see that. Now get back to AM-B where you belong! eg |

And please be kind to culturally challenged US citizens (Canadians are civilized Americans), most of who do not know where France or Iraq are and that they are different. I doubt if there is a single member of the U.S. armed forces who can't distinguish Paris from Baghdad. Talk about a broad brush. There are many members of the Military that follow Pro cycling. Not all think and act like the stereotype that you subscribe to. At a younger age I completely changed my view of the military after talking with some officers. They are not warmonger thugs who want to kill, but are genuinely interested in the defense of our country and are rather worldly in their experience and views. The same goes for those who work for the CIA. You would be surprised at the diversity of opinions of those who work their. Been there, heard that. The older I get the faster and smarter I was. |

Yep...you and 50.1% of the country felt more comfortable voting for the dummy you can relate to. Clearly, Bush has crafted a persona as "good old boy" (even though he was a silver-spooned frat boy), and a "good Christian" (even though he starts wars on false pretext, and has never "cast out the moneychangers"). But, don't fret...your attitude of anit-intellectualism has long been a hallmark of the American political scene. Smart guys having to "dumb down" to get elected is standard fare....Bush is lucky in that he was already there. GG Ron |

Despite Gore's supposed claim, we (Americans) did indeed invent it. As for "owning", that would be too much, but USENET at least has been an English-preferred domain. The English usage in your first post was a lot better than the second one; continue to work on your punctuation. Dispense is a odd word choice for the context of the sentence. And, your use of "these" probably should be those, but only if you had already named those you meant to reference in the immediate previous sentence that was within the same paragraph. Nope, you're wrong. His usage of "dispense" and "these" is standard in English English. You may have your own dialect, but. |
